Interested in applying to become a teacher in Greater Victoria School District?
We wish you success. However, the GVTA is not responsible for hiring to the GVSD. We are only able to refer you to the appropriate links on the GVSD website.
The following links may be useful in your pursuits.
Here is a list of the documentation required by the GVSD:
- Cover letter (addressed to Manager, Educational Staffing)
- Resumé
- Two letters of (professional) reference
- Teacher Evaluation Reports and/or Student Practicum Reports
- Official university transcripts
- BC College of Teachers Certificate (For information, please contact BCCT at1-800-555-3684)
- Proof of current membership in the BC College of Teachers (membership card or BCCT Certificate issued in current school year)
- Teacher Qualification Service (TQS) Category Card. (For information, please contact TQS at 1-604-736-5484
